Garden

We are avid gardeners, and have been for many years. Gardening was just something we took pride in as children. Whether growing new varieties of flowers and vegetables, it was all fun, especially sharing with our grandparents. Even working in Granddads extensive Strawberry patch was fun and educational. Over the years, certain plants have always been our favorites, but we have been game to try new and difficult varieties as well. Creating a large Koi pond perennial garden was both exciting and challenging...to have enough variety that would provide a year round garden with blooms and color. And we did it successfully.

But that was not enough. We began hybridizing Daylilies and Iris, and have grown some lovely seedlings with unique blooms, that we are planning to register. We also collect seed from the majority of our blooming perennials, all is open pollinated, and grown without chemicals. We like a natural approach to gardening, as we do with everything here.

We will be offering an eclectic variety of seeds, both from annuals, perennials, and some truly exotic species as well...we will list what we have as it is available. If you are unsure of how much is available to order, feel free to send us an inquiry. info@meadowmuffin.ca
